Asset and Wealth Management Work Experience

I completed a weeks worth of work experience at Julius Baer, who are a private bank that provide asset and wealth management services. I found it throughly educating and interesting as I spoke to several people from a number of different departments that have taken time out of their days to teach me about what they do, which I was very grateful for. A few of the roles that I was taught about were;- Relationship Managers/Assistant Relationship Manager- Portfolio Manager- Wealth and Tax planners- The Service Team- Investment Ideas - ApprenticeshipsIt showed me what the environment and culture of banking is like, which I thought was very exciting and enjoyable. While also showing me the skills needed to work in that industry. I completed a project throughout this week which was a PowerPoint presentation highlighting the key parts of information I learnt about Julius Baer and what my experience was like, which I then presented to a Relationship Manager and the Head of ARMs.I enjoyed my time at Julius Baer as everyone was extremely kind and welcoming and I admired all the hard working people from each different department.
