      Conducting independent research at Harvard's Joint Center for Housing Studies on Missing Middle Housing. Research will culminate in a three-part report that seeks to answer the overarching question, “What will it take to build more Missing Middle Housing (MMH) in Massachusetts?” To answer this question, the report will first understand what MMH is and why this type of housing is often “missing,” before examining housing policy advances enabling MMH in other state contexts, and exploring obstacles and opportunities for MMH development locally.
