  Reporting to the Area Director of Public Relations for Jordan & Palestine region where I was in charge of: Assisting and develop media contacts, plan press conference and other press activities. Also assists in acting as Hotel's liaison with media to promote good publicity and counteract bad publicity.Assist and organize public relations promotional activities, coordinate with department concerned, and as instructed by Director of Public Relations, invites VIP's and media to promotional activities, prepares and issues press releases.Assists in disseminating corporate press releases to appropriate local trade and consumer media.Dealing with top key accounts in the Country in terms of handling their requirements for special banquets or accommodation locally and internationally.Establishes a program for sending to trade publications on a regular basis releases covering special events, promotions, etc.Prepares promotional press releases on personalities among guests and employees of the hotel and on newsworthy events in the Hotel.Transmits to DPR, all clients and media complaints, requests and inquiries. Supervises and directs photographers commissioned to take pictures of VIP's show, etc.In absence of the DPR the assistant should coordinate with the GM, EAM for guest's lists and invitations for VIP receptions, luncheons, dinners, etc.Maintains clipping files pertaining to the Hotel based on daily perusal of the media and provides same to GM, DRP and other departments, other hotels corporate public relations as appropriate.Prepares the monthly draft of PR report to which includes DPR activities, PR press clippings for DPR.Prepares the special corporate office press section report and clearly reviewed by DPR prior to forwarding to corporate office.Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
