  Mr. Hansen is owner of Hansen and Associates and serves as principal in charge of all projects. Greg started working for his father, Keith A. Hansen, founder of Hansen and Associates at the young age of 12. He is a Registered Land Surveyor in Utah and Idaho with almost 50 years experience in the engineering and surveying field. Along with the daily struggles and rigorous routine of running a successful business, his responsibilities include the supervision of the survey department. Some of those responsibilities include data acquisition, data compilation, field surveys, retracement and research, boundary calculations, construction layout, preparation of right-of-way documents, survey certificates, legal descriptions and computer-aided preparation of base maps used for project layout, calculations and design. His vast experience and familiarity with state-of-the-art surveying equipment, instrumentation and data collection, as well as extensive background in complex computer-aided drafting hardware and software, provides a strong foundation of accuracy for project planning, design and field stakeout. He has held various officer positions with the Utah Council of Land Surveyors including president in 1993 and 1994. Greg wrote an article "Utah Surveying History" which is published on the UCLS Web Site. Greg has also served as the Little Bear River Irrigation System Water Commissioner for over 25 years. Show less
