Mayela has been the key makeup artist for Ricardo Seco and Agatha Ruiz de la Prada for New York Fashion Week, Mexico City Fashion Week, and Paris Fashion Week shows. Mayela has also worked with celebrities including Chloe Sevigny, Nicky Hilton, Coco Rocha, Hillary Rhoda, Leandra Medine, and James Franco. She also regularly works with top media influencers, including Brooke Carrie Hill, Kelly Oxford, Samantha Wennerstrom, Giovanna Campagna, and Natalie Lim Suarez. In addition to her makeup artistry, Mayela also has a passion for teaching and mentoring others who hope to enter the beauty industry. She leads makeup master classes in New York City and Mexico City that have attracted thousands of aspiring makeup artists, and teaches private makeup classes in both cities for professional makeup artists who are looking to enhance their skills. She is also the co-founder of Into the Industry, an immersive three-day fashion and beauty workshop in New York City where she’s secured partnerships with Chobani, Vita Coco, and WeWork as the head of the beauty and commercial departments.
