      Best Participant's Award in IFEC 2022 IEEE يوليو ٢٠٢٢ Our team from University of Moratuwa was selected for the final round and won the Best Participant Award in the International Future Energy Challenge 2022, organized by the IEEE. We developed the hardware and design of a smart, efficient, and light microgrid inverter from scratch. The final competition was held between 27th-29th July 2022 at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA. Due to the economic crisis situation in the country, we could not attend the competition in person.       2nd runner-up in the first ever Virtual International Micromouse Competition organized along with Techfest 2020; Asia’s largest Science and Technology Festival in its 24th edition IIT Bombay ديسمبر ٢٠٢٠ The competition was aimed to build a micromouse robot capable of moving to the center of a given maze at the smallest time possible in a ROS simulation environment. We were able to make a micromouse robot using a URDF(Universal Robotic Description Format) file format and programmed it with our own variance of floodfill algorithm and a curve turn algorithm.
