      I was an integral member of the organising team for two scientific meetings which attracted ~1000 delegates each held in Adelaide (2011) and Sydney (2012). Concurrently, I delivered up to five national workshop style events each month attracting between 20 to 200 delegates. Key roles included: - Maintaining key stakeholder relationships including sponsors- Processing registrations and payment- Logistics including merchandise freight and travel and accommodation arrangements- Merchandise sourcing and stocktake - Creating and collating delegate packs - Coordinating event room set ups and catering requirements- Onsite event activities: setup, registration, customer service and shut down- Producing post event reports summarising event details, guest feedback and overall performance Show less

      Crystal Palace Catering is the premiere Asian catering company in Australia. I worked closely with the Managing Directors where we were awarded the Australian Bridal Industry Awards ‘Independent Caterer of the Year’ in 2014. I was responsible for managing a portfolio of up to seven weddings a week. I ensured client expectations and requirements were effectively communicated from sales to planning through to operational delivery team. Key responsibilities included:- Prompt follow up of initial enquiries, meeting with new clients and contract negotiation - Budget management, invoicing, cash handling, post event revenue reconciliation- Building and maintaining client and other stakeholder relationships - Liaising with key stakeholders: client and their families, guests, staff, kitchen, venue management and other suppliers- Finalising client event orders containing dietary requirements and seating arrangements- Preparing event briefs detailing specifics for the FOH and BOH teams- Inventory and logistical management - Post event follow up to ensure client satisfaction- Staff recruitment, training, rostering, maintaining staff records, disciplinary procedures and dismissals Show less
