      ▪ Function as the point of contact for overall camp coordination and camp management (CCCM), as well as the safety and security of around 50,000 refugees living in a camp in southeast Bangladesh▪ Resolve conflicts between refugees and host communities, and mediate peaceful coexistence▪ Plan and implement disaster risk reduction (DRR) initiatives to make refugee settlements resilient and safe▪ Advocate and support the legitimate rights of refugees through liaison and coordination with the camp administrator, UNHCR, law enforcement agencies, and humanitarian agencies▪ Ensure appropriate links with national and local authorities, state institutions, civil society, and other stakeholders for effective coordination of humanitarian assistance▪ Monitor and oversee budget and resource management to ensure that project activities are carried out smoothly and effectively▪ Supervision: 115 persons in total (10 staff, 5 support staff and 100 volunteers) Impact & key achievements:▪ Fundraising: Initiated and facilitated negotiations and discussions with the UNHCR that resulted in ActionAid winning the current camp management grant.
