      Undergraduate Student

Took part in a week long, voluntary attendance project organised through my course at Heriot-Watt University. This was an excellent opportunity to gain hands on practical experience of the construction/engineering industry. I was part of a multi-disciplinary team of students from the university, tasked with constructing a cast in-situ concrete and steel framed bridge. My particular responsibility was for the erection of formwork, liaising with team members and organising the concrete pour.
