      Provided risk management solutions to Greencap clients in the areas of contaminated land, acid sulfate soils, environmental due diligence and cooling tower water treatment systems.Conducted a range of tasks including project management, reporting, client liaison and sub-contractor management within the Contaminated Land Team for the delivery of environmental site assessments, groundwater/soil/vapour monitoring, remediation and risk assessments.Project management roles including project deliverables, financial management, quality management audits, scheduling field based tasks and tender management.Environmental engineering experience included field works, reporting and project management of soil, groundwater and vapour assessments at service stations, fuel depots, fuel spill sites, ammunition factories, former dry cleaners, electroplaters, rail maintenance yards, former landfills and green field developments. The broad range of projects required strong technical and problem solving skills that have been demonstrated at a variety of sites impacted by petroleum hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, heavy metals, asbestos and nitrogen compounds.I undertook environmental assessments as part of statutory environmental audits in Victoria and New South Wales that required a solid technical understanding of contaminant processes and contaminated land regulation.       Project Manager within Melbourne Water's Western Region Waterways and Land Delivery team.The WLD program was developed to deliver “on ground” maintenance and minor capital works that contribute to the delivery of waterways and land customer service outcomes. As part of the program Ross delivered approximately $1-2m of capital projects.Projects included wetland and river improvements involving removal of invasive weeds, planting of native vegetation and development of aquatic habitat for threatened species (i.e Platypus).Ross managed all aspects of project delivery following internal project approval. Key aspects included managing project budget, timeframes and quality with Melbourne Water's framework, but also stakeholder consultation including with registered aboriginal parties and impacted land owners. As the project manager, Ross was responsible for all project management aspects including scope, time, budget, quality, stakeholders and risk management.Ross delivered approximately $13m worth of capital projects comprising numerous water pump station and chemical dosing upgrades, watermain design and construction, a 450kW solar array installation, electrical upgrades and recycled water treatment.
