    Deepak Talwar is National Cyber Security Officer for Microsoft India. He is a passionate cybersecurity leader responsible for Microsoft’s security engagements with customers, building partnerships with channels/industry associations to scale cloud buisness as well as working closely with policymakers. At Microsoft, he is responsible to drive security as a trusted advisor to government, enterprises, and partners to scale their buisness, co-create, and innovate solutions in cloud security transforming customers to adopt cybersecurity strategy & future regulations which can increase cyber resiliency and safety for the country. Prior to joining Microsoft, Deepak had spent 20 years of career stint in setting up niche security solutions, partner ecosystem , direct revenue impact across enterprises, corporates, governments, and wearing a double hat to be a shape tech evangelist during his tenure at Symantec, EY, Mcafee, Trend Micro, Convergys, Cisco TAC (Amity University). Domain expertise is in Security Sales, business development, information security, cloud security, data protection, privacy, and cyber resiliency. Deepak is also Chairman of the ASSOCHAM security council and an advisory member at various educational institutes. He completed executive business management from IIM Lucknow, and he is also a very active member, contributing to academia by mentoring students to build careers in Cyber security, privacy, and compliance.
