      I spent 14 happy years with Fisons, who were a FTSE100 company, later absorbed into the Rhone-Poulenc giant, having started with the company as Production Supervisor, then gaining several promotions through Production Manager and Training Coordinator, to Training & Safety Coordinator (a role tailored to my specific skills and impact), to ultimately Site Safety Advisor, changing perceptions of safety as a ‘nice to have’ to a business critical compliance need. My responsibilities crossed a multitude of aspects for the business, and during my time there, I restructured company Health & Safety Policy and created effective communication channels for sharing information, recording issues, and establishing improvements in line with emerging industry legislation. I also determined, created, and delivered Risk Management training to all levels, alongside bespoke training courses to meet HSE criteria including 4-day Health and Safety workshops for supervisory staff.These were dynamic and ever-changing times in terms of Health and Safety, and I was amongst a few trailblazers who dedicated their careers to stabilising and maintaining safe workplaces. I launched the Environment sub-committee and Emergency Response procedures, including the leadership of operations to disassemble and remove a redundant 10,000-gallon diesel fuel storage tank.I oversaw a number of other key projects including the creation and implementation of a ground-breaking new Training Management System, achieving the deployment of a fully competent team of 10 Section Instructors and the development of a bespoke software package to embed the training function. I achieved efficiencies of 90%+ (measured against work study standards) on over 80% of processed orders, ensuring cost-effective utilisation of resources in meeting production targets and deadlines. Initially, I assess client needs to establish goals and/or barriers, before moving into the client led coaching space. I have provided programmes (amongst others) which have successfully turned around HSE of a UKBU to best performing GBU, supported a construction rig in winning the Oil and Gas Award in Employee Engagement, and supported an Executive client to realise 95% of their future state predictors.
