  During my Ph.D. studies at Peking University School of Life Sciences, I launched a research project focused on high-throughput data analysis and algorithm development for the human genome. Utilizing next-generation sequencing (NGS) and single-molecule optical mapping (Bionano) technologies, I identified large-scale structural variations in human genome. This involved creating indices for efficient genomic string querying, visualizing extensive data, and implementing feature extraction and machine learning algorithms. Actively contributing, I personally coded and implemented custom algorithms for each of these techniques. Additionally, I played a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing high-performance servers and clusters within the School of Life Sciences and the laboratory, gaining valuable expertise in both theoretical genomics and practical data analysis and server infrastructure management.
