  Men And Beauty: NORDSTROM The project scope was to increase personalization on the NORDSTROM website to improve the end-user experience while enhancing the overall look & feel and search functionality of the website. The project used agile methodology.  Involved in the estimation process and requirement analysis phase. Development of new features that improved customer experience. Development of new personalized Recommendation API Created an SSIS package that would copy the data from a shared location, validate it, and then load it into the database. Used Control-M to schedule the job. Responsible for creating database objects including stored procs, tables, views, indexes, cursors, etc. Show less Signing And Labeling: TARGET The main objective of this project was to have a few applications running on the stores and have a centralized system (Database) in one place. This is a complete rewrite of few applications using the latest technologies. Analysis of the existing applications which would be impacted by the new system. Rewrite of the applications from the scratch. Created an SSIS package that would import data from multiple sources (stores) and after validation, store them into a central warehouse. Few POCs to get a hands-on on the latest technologies.Sales Floor In stock Accuracy: TARGET These are set of applications that use a WCF Service for common functionality and are responsible for managing the replenishment activities of Target Stores so as to resolve the problems of over and under replenishment. Replenishment activities involve pushing items to the stores/Stocking back the items to the backroom/Managing the defectives/in- transit management/Physical inventory counting/Tie-untie the Planograms etc. Worked on the development of many applications assigned. Responsible for creating all the database objects.  Used INDEXED Views for the first time in the project which improved the performance of many applications which are the backbone of the whole replenishment process of the store. Automated the generation of SQL scripts for deployment. Developed a testing application that consumed WCF service and tests all the Common functionalities created in the project.
