Instruments administered include Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children- IV (WISC-IV), the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale- IV (WAIS-IV), the Physical and Neurological Examination for Soft Signs (PANESS), Delis-Kaplan Executive Function System (DKEFS), Wide Range Achievement Test-IV (WRAT-IV), Children’s Memory Scale (CMS), Grooved Pegboard Test, Conner’s Continuous Performance Test- II, Modified Clinical Test of Sensory Interaction on Balance (MCTSIB), and the Bender Visual Motor Gestalt Test-II. Aug 2017 - Aug 2020Within the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital, my primary clinical responsibilities involved the delivery of diagnostic psychological assessment services to patients referred for evaluation due to suspected Intellectual Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder, mood and anxiety disorders, or other neurodevelopmental conditions (e.g., Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder or Specific Learning Disorder). Additional duties included providing individual and group psychotherapy using dialectical-behavior therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and interpersonal therapy treatment approaches. Services also included in-depth psychoeducational evaluations of very high-ability learners to determine the appropriateness of academic acceleration (e.g., early school entrance, whole-grade acceleration, subject acceleration, advanced placement) and to identify clients’ instructional needs.
