      Oct 2015 - now
      Chief Executive Officer

Assertive Intellectual Motivation is a fully functioning 501 (c) agency that I created to battle the gun violence, and community degeneration in Chicago. By offering intellectual, and job training, as well as Case Management, and Mental Health Counseling we hope to have an effect on the murder, and class x crime rates in the city. We have a mentoring division that seeks to partner respected members of the community with the criminal element to help motivate them towards a better life. We also are involved in Neighborhood development as part of the Chicago Community Loan Fund. Several of the members of our Governing Body are on Linked in including our Chairperson Ms. Jessica Cain, Owner and CEO Cain's Barber College, our Treasurer Willa Allen, Owner Community Consultants, our Recording Secretary Ms. Carla Griffin, , and Advisory Board Member Dr. A. Morris, Northwestern University Sociology Professor. Show less

Outstanding Motivational Leader Illinois State University Mar 1989 I ran for President of the Student Body Board of Directors in 1989. The black student body was not receiving it's due share of student fee disbursements from their student fees. Our way of protesting was my campaign which actually was "our" campaign (black student body). In a university that was 97% caucasion (21,000 whites to 500 African Americans) I only lost by 90 votes (1,009 to 901). More whites had voted than blacks. The next year we elected a black SBBD President.
