      Technical Director

This year I became an executive at Warwick engineering without borders society. I am the technical director who is in charge of mainly coming up with project ideas and methods of execution as well as supporting all other aspects of the society with their technical issues.I hosted two projects this year. Designing a modular heat exchanger with an industry partner called scarlet fireplaces and entering the designathron. In term 1 I hosted an CAD starter classes to help first years learn how to design and preform analysis of objects. This classes had a turnout of over 30 students and was very successful. In the first time I used money from my bursary to buy electronic so we could a PID (we used a servos, LCD displays and microcontrollers). This money allowed me to see the joys of teaching others and my ‘students’ learnt a lot about programming and using with electronics with me.In the second term one of my teams was about to come second place in the designathron which was a huge achievement.
