Doctor of Philosophy - PhD Electrical Enginnering

I have extensive experience in power system stability, renewable energy integration, and inverter technology. I have developed and proposed new transient sensitivity parameters tailored for low-inertia grids and quantified the optimal economic dispatch of diverse DER power generators, including dispatchable, non-dispatchable, reserve, and arbitrage resources. My work includes conducting transient stability sensitivity studies for PV-penetrated power grids and implementing frequency and voltage… Show more I have extensive experience in power system stability, renewable energy integration, and inverter technology. My work includes conducting transient stability sensitivity studies for PV-penetrated power grids and implementing frequency and voltage regulation strategies to enhance grid reliability. Additionally, I have designed and tested transient stability parameters (CCT) for parallel-connected inverter-based grids and facilitated autonomous active and reactive power sharing among grid-following (GFL) and grid-forming (GFM) inverters. I also engineered CHB inverters utilizing GaN switches and TI DSP, significantly improving inverter performance and efficiency. Show less
