  Internally titled as Digital Transformation Intern, the role encompassed full-stack software engineering responsibilities with a focus on digital transformation projects.• Provided Tier-3 maintenance and support for the recruitment portal developed during my previousinternship, collaborating with Sunway Group HR to enhance and expand its functionality.• Investigated, reverse-engineered, and optimized the Google Cloud deployment of a Sunway Propertyapplication using WebSocket, to resolve critical configuration issues that maxed out database connections. These efforts led to a 78% reduction in Cloud Run costs.• Optimized API performance for a SIP application module by redelegating excessive data processing from the frontend to the backend. Despite an inefficient database structure, this adjustment led to a 400% improvement in load times.• Designed and developed a dynamic document generator application prototype during an internship, utilizing Django and insights from studying the Django River package. Built a custom workflow management system tailored to the organization’s specific requirements, enabling the creation of documents with any structure and automating the approval process.• Revamped and enhanced all internal application modules for Sunway Property by integrating AutodeskPlatform Services with 3-Legged Token Authorization Code Grant Authentication. Utilized Django and SvelteKit for full-stack development and deployed the system on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ATS was implemented for group-wide recruitment use.• Negotiated and established communications with Hogan Assessment to integrate their assessment platform into the ATS and recruitment portal enhancing its capabilities and user experience.• Executed a critical production database migration as part of the ATS development, which introduced a new database structure. This involved carefully migrating the existing job portal’s data to the newly developed ATS database, ensuring seamless data transfer, compatibility, and maintaining system integrity throughout the transition. Shadowed the Minecraft Learning Event in collaboration with MOE to provide observations and recommendations as well.- (Sunway iLabs) Performed a due diligence towards one of the startup companies invested by Sunway iLabs, provided relevant recommendations towards Sunway iLabs in possibilities of future investments.- (Sunway Hotels & Resorts) Provided recommendations towards optimization of process flow for the Reservation and Event teams.
