  IMPACT is Auburn University's largest community service organization with almost 10,000 volunteer hours completed during the 2016-2017 academic year. Our 70 Project Coordinators lead service projects at our 16 different project sites each week. As Vice President of Communications I am in charge of the creation and maintenance of a positive public image of IMPACT through developing innovative ways to recruit and retain volunteers; informing the student body of applications, volunteer opportunities, and project site details through our website, social media, flyers, apparel, billboards, and other promotional materials. I work with a team of 3 other Executive Board members, a graduate advisor, and advisor to plan weekly meetings, train our project coordinators, and ensure that our volunteers are meeting the needs of our community. Volunteered at a variety of Project sites including the Auburn United Methodist Church Food Pantry, the Food Bank of East Alabama, the Louise Kreher Forest Ecology Preserve, Joyland Daycare, Carver Primary After School Program, Oak Park Retirement home, Azalea Place Assisted Living, Reading is Fundamental, the Boys and Girls' Club, and Storybook Farm.
