      First-chaired numerous trials including counterfeit, firearms, tax, and bank and securities fraud. Set up and implemented Medicare/Medicaid Task Force ultimately prosecuting the largest ambulance company in Texas and the first hospital kickback case in the country which was reported in the Wall Street Journal and The Great White Lie by Walt Bogdanich.Served as member of the Economic Crime Council Operations Committee which consisted of Fraud Section Chiefs of largest offices across country. Set up and coordinated first Immigration Fraud Task Force which led to development of six similar task forces in major cities across the United States and HUD/VA/FBI Task Force when housing economy began to fail in Houston.Responsible for training program for all new federal prosecutors in the criminal division in Houston and lectured on Medicare fraud; Received "Younger Federal Lawyer Award" by the Federal Bar Association in 1985.
