  I have had the privilege of serving as a member of the team who built hellosmile PMG on the foundation laid by Kids Dental Village, PC. Together we grew from a single practice in Woodside Queens to a network of ten operations spanning three boroughs serving tens of thousands of patients. As the foremost technical expert at both entities I have led, overseen and contributed to projects ranging from IT infrastructure design and deployment to the construction of new clinic locations, an administrative headquarters, and telehealth contact center. Wherever feasible I have deployed open source technologies to protect us from vendor lock-in and help reduce licensing costs and complications while increasing ROI and sovereignty. My responsibilities include budgeting, vendor management, team building, and of course ensuring the availability, integrity and security of our infrastructure and data as mandated by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).
