  On side of the studies, I worked here as a part-time barista. It is a service job with sales, coffeemaking, and tidying. In 2018 I organized a staff trip to Vilnius, Lithuania for all of us working at the coffee bar (10 baristas) In spring 2017 I started this substitute position (due to the maternity leave of the office manager) at the headquarter of Kaffebrenneriet.I ensured the smooth running of the office on a day-to-day basis, booking meetings and courses, ordering and postal services. In addition to the regular duties, I cooked warm lunch for the office workers every day and organized some improvement projects in the office space. As a store manager, I was responsible for ordering, budgeting, recruitment, staff-related responsibilities and generally having the responsibility for the coffee bar. I worked closely with my staff, and together we achieved our goals. As a barista for Kaffebrenneriet, I prepared a wide range of coffee, sold our products, and kept the coffee bar tidy. When the manager was on vacation, I kept an eye on the store and had the responsibility of ordering. From this position, I got promoted to Store Manager.

  Håndslakt was a meat counter in the same location as the beer bar Håndslag, in Oslo. At the counter, I was selling meat and also prepared charcuterie that was sold in the bar. Soon after we opened I got promoted to substitute store manager with full responsibility for ordering, research for new suppliers, staff scheduling, organizing and generally run the counter smoothly.

The goal of the interview was to get a collected view on what makes new students apply to the bachelor's degree in Innovation and project management at Høgskolen in Østfold. Also to collect data about the applicant's background and expectations to the studies.
