  I was handpicked to join a select team of IT and Finance experts in a multi year effort to address Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) financial control audit issues and to perform GAP analysis to ensure AT&T compliance with all financial reporting requirements. The Project Team directly reported to the Vice President. I was appointed Enterprise Billing Solution Lead to design the solution and author the requirements to ensure timely implementation of the SOX billing program which contained many high complexity projects to address SOX issues. I created a monthly Billed Revenue trending report for AT&T IT Directors accumulating all wireline billed revenue from 7 separate regional wireline billing systems. The report highlighted wireline billing trends and anomalies. I assisted the Senior Technical Director of my department with AT&T oversight of 16 Amdocs billing applications. I was responsible for ensuring application compliance with the Record & Information Management Systems (RIMS) audits, User Access Management (UAM) audits, Ernst & Young (E&Y) Audits, and maintaining a Roadmap Inventory of all application maintenance assignments.On behalf of Senior Technical Director, I was responsible for hosting staff meetings, and assigning resources to projects. Show less I was specifically selected to join a newly created Billing Solution Design team to serve as a liaison between the Client, Revenue Accounting Finance, and the IT Billing Journal Applications. In this role I was the Subject Matter Expert for all journal related billing issues and served as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for journal and financial reconciliation consultations, and defect resolution. I addressed multiple questions every day regarding journal reporting, PARS settlements, reconciliations, tax reporting, adjustments, final write-offs, unbillables and cash collections.I investigated anomalies and reconciliation differences throughout the month for the Revenue Accounting department in support of Journal Close, and as necessary I created workarounds (manual GL entries).I owned and authored all business and technical requirement documents impacting revenue journals, financial reconciliations and tax reporting. I also provided project technical application solutions for all billing projects impacting Finance.As the company subject matter expert (SME) for all Combined Bill 3rd Party Billing projects and issues, I served as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all Purchase of Accounts Receivable Carrier Settlement issues.   I am responsible for the documentation and implementation of Business Requirements for multi-million dollar projects impacting multiple clients and applications. I work with client organizations and use elicitation techniques to define the clients' needs and project scope. I work in collaboration with the Clients, Software Developers, Testers and Business Owners to author the Business Requirements. Noted Projects: • Integration of DIRECTV with AT&T as a part of the AT&T acquisition of DIRECTV. Projects addressed integrating the 2 companies in the areas of Billing, Ordering, Collections, and Customer Care • IT Legacy Transformation (ILT) conversion program – IT system infrastructure changes to consolidate billing systems, moving AT&T wireline (Telco) accounts to the AT&T U-Verse billing systemAdditional Responsibilities:I oversaw a team to complete a GL financial account mapping exercise for consumer accounts moving to the U-Verse billing system as part of the IT Legacy Transformation (ILT) project. The effort required the review and analysis of over 4,000 Universal Service Ordering Code (USOC) products being converted to the Uverse biller. I lead a quality assurance effort to reduce defects and to establish consistency among requirements. I developed standarized checklists for both Waterfall and Lean project processes that were implemented department-wide. I created and maintained a roadmap maintenance tool to monitor maintenance tasks and due dates for 72 applications.
