    • TU Delft

      Jun 2007 - Nov 2011
      Junior Scientist (Ph.D. Student)

During my Ph.D. in Delft I was making nanostructures where current flowed through single magnetic molecules. With electrical measurements at cryogenic temperatures I looked at how magnetic properties of the molecules could alter current through them and how current through them could alter their magnetic properties. To get better understanding I also numerically simulated electron transport in these structures with simple models. Publications:A.S. Zyazin, J.W.G. van den Berg, E.A. • Teledyne DALSA

      Dec 2011 - May 2016
      R&D Scientist

At Teledyne Dalsa I was mostly busy with modeling CMOS X-ray detectors for medical applications and CCD image sensors for professional photography and photogrammetry applications. For X-ray detectors I developed a Monte Carlo simulation tool, and applied it to predict and understand resolution and noise properties resulting from different choices in optical stack architecture. For CCD sensors the main focus was pixel performance. Using both in-house and commercial (Sentaurus) TCAD tools I modeled a few generations of medium format image sensors (60, 80 and 100 Megapixels) and time delay and integration (TDI) sensors for aerial photography. Evaluation of engineering samples and test structures was also part of my job. Show less

    • PerkinElmer, Inc.

      Aug 2016 - Apr 2017
      Principal Engineer

I worked at Dexela Ltd., UK subsidiary of PerkinElmer Medical Imaging, specialising in CMOS-based X-ray detectors development for medical and NDT applications. My role was focused on systems engineering and image quality: specifications, test methodology and formal test plans, execution of testing, ISO 13485 compliant documentation, technical communication with suppliers, customers and production site.

    • Varex Imaging Corporation

      May 2017 - Nov 2017
      Principal Engineer

Varex acquired PerkinElmer Medical Imaging business. I continued in the same role as before.

    • Arm

      Dec 2017 - now

I am taking care of automotive image signal processors and data compression technologies for Arm system-level solutions. I was responsible for support of Arm image signal processor (ISP) IP in EMEA and North America, with a focus on automotive and embedded applications: Mali-C71, Mali-C52/32 and Assertive Camera products.
