      Worked for Caterpillar on producing a high tungsten carbide surface layer steel for mining applications. Worked for Caterpillar on producing a high dendrite surface layer on a bimetal head for an engine in construction equipment. Aided in conducting a research project on how time and temperature in a kiln effects the thermal properties of an investment casting shell. Conducted a former research project, investigating new prime coat materials for industry to use in investment castings, in order to find a substitute that is more cost effective than zircon.       Worked in the technical investigation lab in quality assurance. Completed 20 technical investigations on formed part defects that were sent back to ArcelorMittal by costumers. Wrote technical reports on the findings in each investigation to send out to customers and specific departments throughout the plant. Used the SEM and optical microscope, taking photomicrographs for evidence in the technical reports compiled.

I collaborated with inspection engineering, maintenance, and process engineers to\ draft material operating envelopes (MOEs) for multiple refinery units. Conducted an acetic acid and phosphoric acid injection point analysis to ensure proper material selection and acid injection.

Created a predictive model using a statistical software called R to determine potential causes of preferential corrosion in HF service. Worked with contracting companies on site to help streamline the ultrasonic thickness (UT) data collection process by collecting data digitally in the field to reduce error.

      I worked as a materials engineer for ExxonMobil in their fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) unit and oil movements (OM) area of the facility. I managed their risk basked inspection system for the FCC and OM areas in the facility. I worked with project engineers on approving material types and welding procedures for new construction projects. I collaborated with mechanical engineers, inspectors, and maintenance to ensure repairs in the facility were API compliant and would have an acceptable lifetime based on expected corrosion rates in various areas of the facility. I was actively involved in two major turnarounds, helping to ensure the site had adequate, around the clock support. Show less

      I managed the planning team for the merchandizing solutions organization (MSO) portion of P&G's business in Morris, IL. My team conducted the material ordering, kitting, and scheduling for MSO displays produced at the site. We managed inventory levels, drove weekly staffing recommendations based on upcoming customer order volume, and worked to eliminate losses in systems and work processes. I worked as the education & training capability leader on a start-up project for P&G. I set up content for our site in the corporate LMS, created SCORM content utilizing iSpring, and worked on rolling out an additional learning system locally at the site (eManufacturing/eLearning). I ensured learning and education plans were put in place by each department, as we onboarded over 150+ individuals for the start-up.
