  In this business analyst type role, I work with business users to gather requirements, research and develop process flows, and review technical designs. As the coordinator, I oversee the SIDES program for the Kansas Department of Labor. This includes signing up employers, providing technical assistance on the e-response site, and promoting the use of e-response. I was working as the liaison between the business side of the unemployment sector and the programmers with our IT department to determine what technology would improve our business processes. I would also troubleshoot IT issues as they occurred in our location, contacting our help desk if necessary. I was the supervisor of a group of intake agents. The agents took incoming calls from claimants and employers who had questions about unemployment. This was a newly created position. Utilizing Qfiniti software, I would review randomly recorded calls and determine if the agent handled the call correctly and efficiently. After review, the agent would be given a feedback session, where I would play the call for them and go over tips to improve their call handling.
