Time permitting, I also covered word- and spreadsheet-processing software (both Microsoft and open-source), advanced search engine features, photo editing, online job searching, etc.Part of my day was spent in an office setting making/receiving phone calls to fill upcoming class rosters. I kept track of my classroom information in various spreadsheet documents, and entered students' demographic details into an online database for tracking purposes.   I am responsible for designing/teaching CompTIA curriculum (including A+, NET+, and SEC+) for Mid-East’s Technical Services Specialist Program. Lectures consist mainly of Google Drive slideshows, in-class activities, and exams; supplemental video resources (Professor Messer, YouTube, Netflix, etc.); and hands-on labs to grant experience with critical hardware and software tasks.I also assist current and former students in obtaining prospective leads for IT-related jobs. This includes assisting students with creating / improving their digital footprint on LinkedIn, etc. and offering to engage in community outreach or marketing opportunities for the TSS Program.
