My responsibilities as the General/NWEA Testing Coordinator were to fill the roles of GLAD/NWEA administrator, district contact, proctor, technology director, and staff educator. I upgraded and maintained the software, created, maintained, and archived records for each testing term. I was responsible for upgrading student and staff computers and ensuring working capabilities. I was the go-to for general tech. questions from staff and, I helped staff with immediate testing issues resolving them on my own or using tech. support or EUPISD support. I set up each testing term's test dates and distributed calendars to staff along with arranging the roaming lab times with testing and class use. Each term I ensured each class tested all students and the correct tests were administered. Each night, I uploaded the student's completed tests to the NWEA site during testing terms.I educated staff on testing procedures, general troubleshooting, accessing testing results, analyzing and reading results. I further educated staff on how to use results and NWEA's data to apply changes within the classroom, small groups, or individual students. Staff received a copy of their results from me as they came available so they could analyze the results. I maintained the contact between my own administration, NWEA, district staff, and Bay Mills Charter to fulfill documentation reporting for each term. Along with those responsibilities I also created a testing folder for each classroom detailing GLAD/NWEA login directions, troubleshooting, report acquisition, report analyzing and general information. I also created a master binder of all NWEA related information, contacts, testing information, and a hand-made set of directions that anyone could use to set up a testing term and maintain testing. I currently still handle all these responsibilities for Three Lakes as their testing coordinator. Show less My responsibilities as a teacher at Three Lakes Academy was to teach to the best of my abilities the grade I was assigned with the highest of professionalism, education, and dedication. I was responsible for working with administration, support staff, coworkers, and parents/family to ensure the education and success of all students entrusted to my care. I was also responsible for keeping the school board updated periodically at school board meetings.I was responsible for administration of the DIBBLEs, NWEA, GLAD, DRA, MEAP and other local, district and state tests. Along with testing, reporting results and maintaining accurate documentation was also required. I was also the district testing coordinator, NWEA testing coordinator/administrator and handled the general technology issues and questions for the school. All teachers were required to hold a Family Night designated for that grade to have students showcase what they had been learning, while providing a meal for the family members of students. Along with family night, I was responsible for attending and participating in all after-school functions as well as some community functions as well. I also was responsible (various years/length of service) for my input to various groups including: School Improvement Team, Coordinated Health Committee, Priority School Team-including creation of the 4-year Transformation Redesign Plan for the school, and School-wide Title 1 Team. My last year at TLA, I was responsible for using the QWK2LRN software in my classroom to elevate reading and math skills. I created a program, monitored and analyzed results, troubleshooted issues, used QWK2LRN capabilities to education the students using interactive and cross-curricular activities. Show less Teaching to the best of my ability while keeping current on best practices and district policies. My responsibilities also included being the school's testing coordinator, NWEA administrator, staff general tech person, administrative substitute, and being an integral part of the priority schools transformation plan creator. I also was on the school improvement team and health team.
