      Rahn Properties owned/managed various boutique hotels around the country. Began employment as Executive Assistant at Pier House in 1980 and was promoted to Executive Assistant to the owner of the company in 1985. Ensured flawless hotel operations by constant coordination of properties. Managed and created office functions to support the hotels as well as coordinating travel and conferences for management around the country.

In a personal capacity, managed various properties in the neighborhood for absentee owners.

      Opened the satellite office for Island Management on Fort Myers Beach. Engaged in marketing as well as administrative duties and managing of four properties on the beach. The beach office was closed in July and I opted to relocate although I was asked to remain with company.

      Responsible for managing a 156 unit tower complex directly on Clearwater Beach. In association with the Board of Directors, plans, directs, recommends, and implements policies and procedures to ensure the services required to maintain the common elements of the Association are provided in a first-class manner and in accordance with community rules and regulations. Supervises hiring and management of direct employees and supervises selection and management of outside vendor staffing to assure personnel capable of meeting the community’s goals and high standards in a hospitable, sensitive and courteous manner as well as overseeing the operational, administrative, financial, human resources, maintenance and security functions of the community. Duties include, but are not limited to, budgeting ($2.5 million), vendor bids, property inspections, all functions of Board Meetings, enforcement of the Rules and Regulations, insurance proposals, project supervision, staffing and payroll, maintaining website, handling complaints, and all other aspects of community management.
