  I held various roles within a regulated AIFMD group (operating in Cyprus and Luxembourg), from Compliance Manager to Risk (and Reporting) Manager. Duties involved reporting to the board, fund directors and regulators and involed a lot of data, cleaning and anaysis. I introduced a KPI system as well under the guidance of the fund directors. I was solely responsible for the design, collection and processing of data into monthly, quarterly and annual reports to Board of Directors with key and comparative metrics. The company was unregulated when I joined and I completed their licence applicatoin and submitted it with a business plan and we were the first AIFMD and UCITS manager in the country; following which I was also best placed to set up a lot of the processes etc. On fund-level analyses, I completed financial modelling of investments in particular for the funds inolved in real estate (project in UK in conjuntion with municipality; UK Care Homes, UK student housing etc). I performed the assessments and costing prior to acquisition and monitored post-acquisition. For funds that were trading in trditional assets (stocks, bonds) I performed only high-level monitoring as the outsourced traders took care of the daily trading.I headed up the first internal audit of this company post-licensing.
