      As a Resident Assistant (RA), I and my fellow staff were responsible for ensuring the safety and success of 35-300 individual students at NDSU. Duties included performing rounds and safety checks of the building, holding office hours to assist students, hosting events to enhance student life, and being a source of support and help for anyone who needed it.       Tasked with designing secondary case-packing machinery per customer specifications. I worked on assemblies with part counts between a few dozen and up to a thousand parts to incorporate into machines with part counts in the tens of thousands. I specialized in palletizer designs and became a design team lead after 1.5 years of employment, which placed me in charge of overall process design and mechanical design to be developed by a small team.

      Continuing to lead research into the design, manufacturing, and implementation of the hydroxyapatite bone grafts that I led the development of during my graduate research. Performing research into 3D printing bone graft materials. Lab instructor for MECH231 Engineering Experimentation. Instruct undergrads in the fundamentals of the equipment we used and guide them through experiments. Primarily focused on integrating LabVIEW into data collection. Developed a module for the course; I designed, manufactured, and tested the lab equipment required as well as created the literature and documentation for the module. GTA in the Central Instrumentation Facility at CSU. Responsible for maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and instructing students on the proper use of equipment.

      Golden Bison NDSU Residence Life May 2017 The Golden Bison is issued to up to three individuals each year who show exemplary leadership skills and abilities in the residence halls. This is the highest honor that NDSU Residence Life can bestow upon a student. The recipients are chosen by the director's team of the Department of Residence Life. In 2017, two Golden Bison Awards were issued, with myself being one of the recipients.

      RHA Member of the Year Award NDSU Residence Hall Association May 2017 The recipient of this award is chosen by the members of the Residence Hall Association at NDSU. The RHA body is comprised of the Presidents and Vice Presidents of each hall on campus. They nominate and vote on the most exemplary member of the organization and honor them with this award.
