  As the Event Chairperson for The Relay for Life of Paramus, New Jersey I managed the 30-person event leadership team, delegated tasks to committee members, as well as organized and facilitated the monthly committee and team captain meetings. I had the responsibility of securing the event and meeting spaces, as well as promoting the event through public speaking opportunities and tabling at various community events. During my time in this position I hosted nearly 1,000 participants annually, raised about $500,000 in 3 years for The American Cancer Society at the annual 12-hour overnight community event. As well as placed in the top three RFL events for funds raised in NJ and earned NJ's #1 Event Leadership Team in 2015.
