      Planning, execution and completion of statutory audits for FTSE 100 company Tate & Lyle PLC, in which I was involved for 3 years. My responsibilities ranged from initally the audit of Fixed Assets, Debtors, Creditors and Cash, to the more complex areas of Pensions, Share-Based Payment, Cash Flow and Income Statement in later years. Other responsibilities included IFRS checklists, budgeting, planning of audit and Corporate Governance Compliance. I was also in charge of the audit of the smaller UK head office entities, which applied UK GAAP.I was also significantly involved in a six-month project for the conversion of the T&L accounts from UK GAAP to IFRS, which included restating comparative figures, in particular in the areas of leases and cashflow. Coordination of audit sections for different worldwide locations on shipping client Stolt-Nielsen LTD, which is based in London, incorporated in Luxemburg and listed in Oslo, and therefore different regulations apply. Additionally, involved in three-month project conversion of accounts to IFRS, in particular regarding financial leases.Junior Manager for the audit of GC Hahn UK a Food Stabilizer Systems, where I was continuously praised for my people management skills.Performed extensive work on the Sarbanes Oxley 404e review for GIST BOC.Performed analysis of treasury function, hedging contracts and banking covenants compliance for Stromboli Investissement International experience included a secondment to PwC Colombia in 2006, to work on the audit of Sab Miller’s subsidiary Bavaria. Review of the business and financial model of CA’s first own social enterprise, Change Alliance, based in India. Co-led on the design and fundraising for Project Nadia, an economic development project in Colombia that aims to give access to the legal economy to marginalized farmers coming out of the conflict, through social enterprise and market initiatives. Supervision, professional advice, delivery and technical expertise, on innovative projects with a commercial component such as impact investment, enterprise development, and entrepreneurial governance models.
