      Lead Test Engineer July 2020-PresentResponsible to the chief test engineer to provide direct technical oversight of non-nuclear testing, control of system conditions, transfer of ships system operation, and work controls during an engineering overhaul. Approve, monitor, and provide technical oversight during test evolutions. Brief the daily test schedule to ship’s force watch section and provide guidance to the ship’s duty officer concerning system conditions required for work, testing, and restoration. Monitor the status of systems under shipyard operational control which have potential energy or pressure and maintain accurate logs of evolutions and system parameters. Brief the chief test engineer of daily progress and track deficiency correction to coordinate future testing.Test Director/Work Control Rep January 2018-July 2020 Direct all non-nuclear hull, mechanical, and electrical testing onboard fast attack submarines. Ensure all equipment and systems are operated per NAVSEA approved test procedures. Coordinate with the LTE (Lead Test Engineer) to verify system conditions support testing. Prepare deficiency reports and work alongside technical codes to determine the problems and provide operational experience while troubleshooting. Review completed tests prior to sending to certification to ensure all required data is entered and is satisfactory.Read and understand technical work documents to prepare work authorization forms.
