  • Part of the LOCA and flow analysis team on the BWRX- 300 SMR project.• Utilized the coding program TRACG to model a cavity pool within the software to find flow patterns and behavior. • Modified an existing TRACG base deck to fit with the experimental dimesons given by my manager • Calculated various values such as hydraulic diameter, geometries, heat transfer coefficients, flow values etc. using engineering skills taught in my program at school. • Held weekly meetings with managers and team leaders to give updates on the progress of the work as well as obtain latest information the status of the project. • Wrote a technical report at the end of term that documented all my work and calculations. It was co-signed by my manager and will be used by the LOCA team to achieve the final goal of our department. • Attended multiple training session on various topics such an engineering ethics, values, know-your-business meetings and self- development sessions.
