  - Developed an approach to calculate accurate linear geometric parameters served as the input of the generation algorithm to simulate real plateau honed liners, and modified Material Ratio Curve, the common geometry calculation method, to obtain accurate root mean square of plateau height distribution- Designed a program by using MATLAB and Python to analyze quantitative relations between two sets parameters—the set of geometric parameters used in generating liner finish (ISO 13565-2) and the set of parameters used in manufacturing industry (ISO 13565-3), where 3D roughness geometry can be created by this program based on autocorrelation length of the surface and honing angle- Modified topology of liner finish of internal combustion engines by replaying these open-source projects to optimize processes of simulating liner roughness and lubrication properties Show less
