      I provided electronic operational level maintenance on F/A 18C aircraft. Repaired and maintained radio communications, forward looking infrared devices (FLIR), global positioning systems, Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) equipment, RADAR, electronic warfare equipment, RADAR altimeters, in flight early warning detection systems and electronic displays. During military service I completed two aircraft carrier deployments working on the fast paced carrier flight deck. I developed and demonstrated excellent team leadership skills as a “Weapons Release and Control Team Leader,” tasked with leading weapons checks. I also was a qualified “Collateral Duty Inspector” responsible for verifying that maintenance was done to best working practice. This required the use of test equipment used exclusively on such systems and a variety of other test equipment. I was also responsible for the removal and installation of cable assemblies, the termination of various types of connectors, and the installation of flight test instrumentation utilizing drawing and diagrams. I would adjust I/O logic to ensure that all safety and operational needs were met before motor operation. I also maintain the Millipore reverse osmosis systems used to provide analyzers with clean water. I respond to service calls that require phone and on site troubleshooting. Instruments are the hospitals main analyzers and require a rapid response time.
