After the description of the magnitude of the problem, the module then presents some recent innovations in the field of psychology that have opened up dramatic new possibilities, which hold the promise of an effective response at scale. Going to scale, in turn, poses new challenges and opportunities to the main stakeholder audiences for this module. Show less

Applied Research Project about the legal protection of community health workers (CHWs) in armed conflict settings. Community health workers are health care providers who usually live in the community they serve. During armed conflicts, CHWs represent crucial actors for the continuation of health care provision as they allow access to medical services for their communities in areas that are not accessible by MSF. This research project sought to map the existing legal framework protecting CHWs among different branches of law (IHL, IHRL, International Labour Law) to highlight legal gaps regarding their specific status. Additionally, it wished to investigate and understand how MSF engages with CHWs. This research intended to identify additional protection measures for CHWs and to better grasp how MSF can strengthen its engagement model with the latter. This research project was part of my curriculum for my Master's degree.
