  CTS is the largest coiled tubing company on the Louisiana and Texas Gulf coast. In addition, services are offered in various other parts of the United States, including Alaska, and Canada. Operations are conducted offshore, in inland waters, and on land. Coiled tubing is used to complete wells with the wide range of tools enabling services such as plug setting, sand control, gravel packing, fishing, milling and drillout of plugs, toe preparation in horizontal and shale wells, borehole cleaning, logging, and perforating. Horizontal wells and shale completions are a growing area of operations. In addition to well completions CTS also injects nitrogen through coil tubing to displace fluids from the borehole, and potentially dangerous gases from pipelines and pressure vessels, as well as to conduct pressure/leak tests. Finally, coil tubing is used to clean out boreholes and perform acid stimulation, reverse circulation, cementing, pressure control, and a variety of other operations that involve pumping a fluid—water- or oil-based—into the well.
