The Accelerated Education Program (AEP) was initiated in 2005 to develop programs to disseminate innovative research and practical knowledge generated in the Radiation Medicine Program (RMP) at the Princess Maragret Cancer Centre, and to explore educational methodologies to facilitate this.My role as a Research Education Assistant is very detail-oriented and requires radiation therapy experience in RMP to identify Protected Heath Information (PHI). I am responsible for identifying potential PHI from all AEP-run conferences and individual lectures to prevent all breaches in confidentiality. The removal of PHI follows, using video editing softwares in order to maximize the flow of the lecture piece. Once free of PHI and converted to pure lecture slides, videos may be uploaded to Cisco for internal staff viewing, as well as public viewing on YouTube. Show less
