I graduated in May 2011 with a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structures. I was also a member of Chi Epsilon and the ASCE Chapter at Penn State. Capstone Class: Team leader in the design of a 6,000 seat hockey arena. Details include two-way slabs, concrete/steel columns, truss arch, spread footing, basement wall and footings, and more. I also completed a full analysis of a 440' long arch truss with thousands of members in SAP 2000 which is one of seven in our arena design. The two-way slab is a graduate level design but we completed it as undergraduates because it was necessary for our arena floor. Each component was drawn in AutoCAD and submitted as part of the plan packet with an 86 page report on the design. Show less
