  OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT• To gather primary information on the competition (i.e., for their products and different variants (sizes, flavours), pricing, placement, promotions, and packaging).• To identify and observe the new and already existing competition and compare and analyse from consumer and customer POVs.• To uncurtain major competitors of ITC, and what amount of market share do they hold?• To identify in a particular area, what type of consumption has a higher preference?• To identify which type of packaging and variant has a higher preference?• To identify various promotional and distribution strategies the competitors are using?• To identify whether or not an outlet orders ITC beverages?• To identify and evaluate customer and consumer behaviour towards ITC beverages and their pain points?• To assist in pushing the ITC Beverages in various outlets and increasing sales.• To tap more outlets, even medical stores, sweet shops, bakeries, ISS (Independent super stores), shops nearby wine shopsThe task of primary information gathering from numerous outlets in select areas of Hyderabad will truly help in increasing the sales and market share of ITC and also give me a holistic overview of the actual day to day market scenario and make me familiar with its workings.
