While at Oregon State, I also participated heavily in the music school, taking lessons, and participating in the marching band, travel band, and OSU Trombone Choir throughout my undergraduate degree, as well as participated in the Meistersingers briefly and the Material Research Society. Although balancing my education in Engineering and my passion for music was difficult, the reward of traveling and making connections and working hard in both areas led toward my success in both as well.
