      Master Thesis :The aim of my thesis was to optimize the maintenance policies of safety related motor operated valves (MOVs) at Tihange nuclear power plant (NPP). The evolution of MOVs regulatory requirements in the United States NPPs has been analyzed and compared to the regulatory requirements applied at Tihange NPP. After this benchmarking, some recommendations have been emitted based on this gap analysis results. The MOVs Grouping is one of the most important outcomes of the regulatory requirements evolution during the previous years. In fact, the regulatory requirements do not require any specific Grouping methodology. Therefore, through this thesis, a new specific MOVs Grouping is established based on reliability-centered maintenance and the technical parameters of actuators and valves. MOVs Grouping is performed for the three units of Tihange NPP in order to enhance nuclear safety and improve the cost effectiveness. The results of MOVs Grouping, based on the proposed criteria, are in total compliance with the regulatory requirements. On one hand, to evaluate the impact of the grouping on nuclear safety, Risk Spectrum Professional Analysis Tool has been used. This tool is based essentially on the probabilistic safety assessment model. On the other hand, the calculation of the cost effectiveness is based on human resources inputs provided by Tihange NPP. As a result, the impact on nuclear safety could not be precisely determined: it could be positive or slightly negative. While there is a great gain of costs. عرض أقل

Tanger Med 2 Port itself represents a total infrastructure investment of 2.5 BUSD:- More than 4600 m of breakwater- 2800 m of quays- A total volume dredged of 3 million cubic meters- A backfill total volume of 28 million cubic meters- A basin area of 200 hectares- 160 hectares of land entirely reclaimed from the sea- A depth of 18 meters.Tangier Med 2 Port contains two Container Terminals (CT3 and CT4) with a capacity of 6 million containers conceded respectively to Tanger Alliance (a consortium of Marsa Maroc, Eurogates, Contship Italia and Hapag-Lloyd) and to the world leader APM TERMINALS (MAERSK GROUP) who developed in Tanger Med 2 Port the most innovative container terminal in Africa integrating the last technologies (automated electrical cranes) with a total investment of 900 MUSD. The full commissioning of Tanger Med 2 Port will rank Tangier Med among the top 20 container ports in the world, which will further strengthen its position as a reference hub for global logistics flows and Global Trade. I work closely with Tangier Med top management to make sure that the scope and budget of the project are on track.Tangier Med port is situated on the Strait of Gibraltar at the crossroad of major East/West and North/South maritime routes, it is a natural transhipment hub for global logistics flow. More than 100 000 ships a year and 200 cargo ships per day circulate through the Strait of Gibraltar under the maritime services of the world's largest ship-owners that link Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Africa.
