  During my study, I led and oversaw multiple large-scale research projects:1. I designed an advance care planning intervention targeting nursing home residents. Using engaging infographics and an interactive booklet to transform a traditionally challenging dialogue into a more accessible and informative process, successfully securing funding from the Hong Kong Health Bureau (1,499,498 HKD).2. Collaborating with lung cancer specialists, thoracic surgeons, and exercise experts, I developed a prehabilitation and health education program for surgical lung cancer patients and secured funding from the Hong Kong Health Bureau (1,410,064 HKD). I worked closely with the hospital management team and oversaw patient recruitment.3. I oversaw the execution of a city-wide survey study on preference for end-of-life care. Leading the research team, I successfully enrolled over 300 nursing home residents and caregivers for individual interviews. I independently conducted the data analysis and published in Journal of Clinical Nursing and BMC Palliative Care as the first author. I was invited by the International Honor Society of Nursing to present a webinar on End-of-Life Care from a Global Nursing Perspective.4. During COVID-19, the Southeast and East Asian Nursing Education and Research Network (SEANERN) initiated a multi-national study investigating the impact of the pandemic on nursing education. I was selected as the HKU representative and gathered pivotal information regarding nursing education from over 150 nursing students and faculty members. Show less
