  • Assist in leveraging resources for infrastructure development activities, with focus on renewable energy.• Coordinate with donors for the smooth and effective implementation of infrastructure projects.• Assist at project finding, drafting of concept notes and strategies and of budgeting the project costs.• Prepare implementation plans and progress reports for infrastructure projects.• Prepare contracts for various donors and partner organizations.• Prepare TOPs for outsourcing AKRSP engineering services.• Monitoring all infrastructure and renewable projects• Study/introduce innovative, efficient and cost effective model infrastructure projects, with focus on projects of rural electrification and socio-economic development and environment protection.• Prepare technical feasibility for micro, mini and small hydel power projects in Gilgit Baltistan and Chitral.• Review and establish sustainable models of efficient operation and maintenance of infrastructure projects, with focus on power utility companies.• Visit project sites to ensure that projects are constructed as per approved design/estimate and quality of construction is up to the approved standards.• Check that the record related to infrastructure projects at the Regional Office and the beneficiary level is maintained as per the requirements of donors and AKRSP.• Give timely feedback to the Core, Regional and Area Office managements about the weaknesses identified at various levels and recommend solutions.• Facilitate/conduct capacity building workshops/training courses for AKRSP engineers.• Establish local national and international linkages for exchange of information and experience.
