Choir Director/Facilitator for Singing-based Team Workshops

In addition to founding my own 40-strong local community pop choir in West London, I have run vocal workshops with wide-ranging groups from teenagers in socially deprived locations to corporate workforces such as Apple and Channel4. Workshops are confidence-buidling, fun, team based and technically sound in terms of vocal pedagogy. Get your group to learn some basic vocal technique, performance skills and learn & perform a song in 3-4 part harmony.

      Researcher, Speaker and Social Activist

From professional singer and vocal coach to artists and amateurs in the music industry for 20+ years, to a new journey towards the study of psychology and later music psychology. New ventures into the study of music and psychology combined has unearthed a passion for promoting good mental health in the Arts and greater inclusion, diversity and equity in music education and the industry, in particular for people of colour. As a director and arranger of a successful West London community choir, continued research and activism in the use of singing as a tool for wellbeing, social connectedness and belonging, is also a key focus.
