  Babasal Mombasa is a non-government organization that focus on literary development in Luwuk, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. Every year, Babasal Mombasa hold an event called Festival Sastra Banggai (Banggai Literary Festival), which is the 6th biggest literary festival in Indonesia. Beside that, Babasal Mombasa has many programs such as writing training for youth, mobile library, and many literary workshop that free for people.

  Indonesia Mengajar places the best scholars in remote areas of Indonesia called Pengajar Muda. Their presence is to teach, educate, inspire and become a bridge for the people of remote villages to advancement centers. In these areas, Pengajar Muda will be able to find new friends, new homes, and new families. Furthermore, the villages will always be inseparable parts of the aspirant leaders.I was selected as 34 of Pengajar Muda batch XVIII from 10.726 applicants. My responsibilities as follow:1. Taught in a remote area at SDN Pian Raya, Musi Rawas regency, South Sumatra Province.2. Demonstrated pedagogical and creative learning methods in the classroom.3. Facilitated teachers in applying creative learning methods and initiating extracurricular activities.4. Communicated and enforced awareness of education among stakeholders, including civil society and local government.5. Facilitated collaboration among stakeholders (civil society, schools, government, and others) to independently initiate the education movement.6.   DSLNG is the fourth LNG plant in Indonesia operated by PT Donggi-Senoro LNG (DSLNG), a joint venture company among renowned Asian energy companies which comprise PT Pertamina (Persero), Medco Energi International (Tbk), Mitsubishi Corporation, and Korea Gas Corporation. DSLNG is the first LNG project in Indonesia to adopt the separate upstream and downstream development model. In this position, I have some responsibilities as follow:1. Ensure all the external publication activities are well executed and well delivered and build a positive working relationship with the media network, both local and national scoops.2. Work together and coordinate with all departments (i.e., CSR, HR, etc.) to develop an integrated calendar of external communication events.3. Design and execute various programs such as media training, workshop, and seminars for local media and PR stakeholders like volunteers.4. Handle the Information Center (Pusat Informasi Migas), ensure all the activities are well organized and prepare all the possible programs to boost the positive image of DSLNG in public.5. Monitor and provide insights on national and global media news related to Oil and Gas business trends and DSLNG operations plant to provide an updated information channel to the Management.6. Study and review incoming proposals from external parties concerning event sponsorship to ensure that all incoming proposals comply with DSLNG’s sponsorship policies.7. Prepare and administer reports and documentation of external communication activities and sponsorship events to ensure timely reports to the DSLNG Management.8. Maintain a database of media partners to ensure the database is updated periodically. Show less
