  I contributed to the treatment of people with the motor effects of stroke and traumatic brain injury using constraint-induced movement therapy (CIMT). I played a major role in collecting, interpreting, and entering patients' accelerometry data to evaluate the usage of their affected and unaffected limbs. Interacting with patients daily during their two-week study periods, maintaining communication with them for follow-up appointments, and conducting structured patient interviews helped me build a relationship with the patients I worked with. As a result, I used my experience and research to create my senior thesis titled "Reliability and Validity of Accelerometry for Measuring Upper Extremity Rehabilitation Outcome in Adults with Traumatic Brain Injury."
